Kareena replaces Aishwarya in ‘Heroine’ Movie

Kareena Kapoor, the original choice of director Madhur Bhandarkar for his movie Heroine, is now learnt to be back in the project after declining it earlier on. The film, Madhur’s dream project on which he has worked for a year and a half, has been shelved ever since the news of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy broke out. While a dejected Madhur had refuted having any plan to revive the project, buzz is that UTV’s Siddharth Roy Kapur and writer Niranjan Iyenger want to put the derailed project back on track and it was with this intention they have approached Kareena Kapoor.
Now, the word is that Kareena has agreed to the role but with certain reservations and conditions. While she has agreed to smoke, drink and even snort for the film, she has said a flat-out no to lovemaking scenes with male co-stars Arjun Rampal and Arunoday Singh. So Kareena’s inclusion calls for a change in the script and the next task at hand for Siddharth Roy Kapur and Niranjan Iyenger would be to convince Bhandarkar to make these changes. Will Bhandarkar compromise? Watch this space.
